About Global Water Center

Global Water Center (GWC) is a forward-thinking nonprofit organization based in Charleston, SC. GWC’s unique contribution to the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector is to work to end the global water crisis through a four-pronged strategy – incentivize collaboration among all organizations working in the WASH sector, incentivize those organizations to comply with performance and quality standards that optimize the probability that their projects will be sustainable, provide training and support services that enable the organizations to meet the standards, and provide monitoring, evaluation, and response services that ensure projects continue working as designed.

To accomplish this, GWC mobilizes internal and external experts to aid in the assessment, design, implementation, and monitoring of projects as a service to water sector organizations in low- and middle-income countries.  To learn more, visit
