Irene holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and brings with her eight years of invaluable experience working on rural water projects and within the WASH sector. Throughout her career, Irene has dedicated herself to ensuring communities and refugee camps have access to safe water. Irene first engaged with GWC as part of the inaugural cohort for our virtual SPWS course in 2021.

Irene is a nature enthusiast who enjoys adventures and nurturing flowers. Her love for the natural world fuels her commitment to safeguarding water as a vital resource. Based in Dodoma, Tanzania, Irene is married and has a young son.
