Director of Curriculum Design

As Director of Curriculum Design, Heidi leads curriculum design and instructor training with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutes throughout Africa and Asia, as well as GWCs growing list of technical training courses. She became passionate about improving access to safe water when she experienced the dangers of contaminated water while biking through India and Southeast Asia in the early 2000s. After spending three years as a high school science teacher, Heidi transitioned 15 years ago into the nonprofit sector to design and deliver technical water-based programs. She currently resides north of Toronto, Canada, with her two children. She enjoys spending time outdoors and participating in adventurous activities, such as skiing, mountain biking, climbing, hiking, and camping.
