Rear Admiral (retired), USN, Board Director

A native of South Carolina, Admiral Young graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Navy for 36 years as a submariner and an acquisitional professional. Following his Navy retirement in 2006, Admiral Young worked for Oceaneering’s Advanced Technologies Divisions as the VP for Strategic Business Planning. Charlie is the grandfather of 9 grandchildren, an active member of St Andrews Anglican Church in Mt Pleasant, and he greatly enjoys outdoor activities including golf.
