Last month, we partnered with Agua Pura Para el Mundo (APPM) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to host a powerful event focused on the professionalization of the rural water sector in Honduras.
The event brought together 25 organizations, including:
-
SANAA (The National Water & Sewerage Service)
-
ERSAPS (The Regulator for Water and Sanitation Services)
-
CONEANFO (National Commission for the Development of Non-Formal Alternative Education)
-
Ministry of Health
-
AHJASA (The Honduran Association of Water Boards)
-
AHMON (Honduras Association of Municipalities)
-
UNICEF
-
Local and International NGOs
-
Universities
-
Community water boards
It was an inspiring reminder of what’s possible when mission-driven organizations come together with a shared purpose.
Together with IDB, APPM, and local leaders, we’re proud to be laying the groundwork to strengthen the professional capacity of rural water operators across Honduras.
