Senior Technical Advisor

Michael Pouw has over 25 years of experience leading IT initiatives, implementing new technologies, and managing change for nonprofit and corporate organizations. His work includes key roles at Water Mission, Focus on the Family, and Aon, where he specialized in strategic technology solutions. Before transitioning to IT, Michael worked as a Technical Officer for the Australian Department of Aviation, overseeing electrical and communications technology at Sydney Airport and other regional airports. 

Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Michael emigrated to Australia in 1969 and later moved to the U.S. in 2001. He holds a degree in Electronics and Communications and studied law with the Supreme Court of Australia at Sydney University. Passionate about technology’s role in solving the global water crisis, Michael is committed to developing and implementing innovative solutions for the WASH sector. He lives with his wife in Colorado Spring, Colorado, and enjoys traveling and music.
