Carbon Credit Program Associate

Moritz Hamelmann serves as a Carbon Credit Program Associate at Global Water Center, where he focuses on the intersection of sustainability and carbon markets. With a master’s degree in Sustainability and Business from Duke University, Moritz’s background includes managing a carbon credit project in Ghana centered on solar and clean cookstove transformations.

Originally from Düsseldorf, Germany, and now based in New York, he is passionate about traveling, experiencing new cultures, and experimenting with cooking. An outdoor enthusiast and former competitive field hockey player, Moritz enjoys trying out new sports in his free time.
