Director of Training

As Director of Training, Heidi oversees training delivery to ensure courses are highly engaging and delivered in ways that translate into measurable skill and knowledge improvement. She became passionate about improving access to safe water when she experienced the dangers of contaminated water while biking through India and Southeast Asia in the early 2000s. After spending three years as a high school science teacher, Heidi transitioned 17 years ago into the nonprofit sector to design and deliver technical water-based programs.

Heidi currently resides north of Toronto, Canada, with her two children. She enjoys spending time outdoors and participating in adventurous activities, such as skiing, mountain biking, climbing, hiking, and camping.
